Professional Tattooing

Tattooing is an ancient art form that has been practised for millennia by cultures all over the world and has been used as a way of commemorating significant rites of passage among tribal members, identifying group membership, and even as ways of invoking a greater spirit.

A tattoo is a form of body modification where a design is made by inserting ink, dyes and pigments, either indelible or temporary, into the dermis layer of the skin to change the pigment. The art of making tattoos is tattooing. Tattoos fall into three broad categories: purely decorative; symbolic; and pictorial.

At Soul Survivors, our tattoo artists use single use sterilized needles, specialized medical grade pigments and barriers in order to maximize the safety of the procedure. We use both state of the art digitally controlled tattoo pens, and traditional electric tattoo machines which allow for the highest degree of precision in the application of the design.

The results can range from softer and realistic to more bold and illustrated depending on the personal style of the artist and preferences of each client.
